As you know, last year I decided that it was time for me to close the studio portion of Creating Space. After 15 years and then finally getting through the difficult and exhausting pandemic years, I knew it was time for me to step away from the responsibility of running the physical studio space.
It will be six months since we closed our studio doors to help fight the further spread of COVID-19. At the time, I honestly was looking forward to a few weeks off. I fully expected to be open again for the spring session. Nobody could have predicted what would follow in the months ahead.
When we closed in March, I had no idea that we would still not be open this summer! For months, we have been anticipating the re-opening of businesses across Canada. I think it is safe to say, that most of us are relieved to see the slow opening across Ontario (especially of hair salons) but, we have yet to hear any news of the re-opening of yoga studios and gyms.
Welcome! We appreciate our CSY Community so deeply and we hope that you will find our studio a warm and inviting place to practice. Here is what you can expect.
It was a bit of a risk to agree to move our entrance to the side of the building. Before the summer, the north side of the building was dark, dirty and not very pleasant looking for the past 12 years. The only way I would agree to move our CSY entrance is if there were to be a commitment for extensive landscaping and abundant lighting.
10 years is a reason to celebrate!
We hope you will join us this weekend to celebrate 10 years of community.

Are you ready to shake up your Saturday night plans and open yourself up to the inspiring world of live classical music?
Almost 10 years ago, I had a vision of a studio space that created opportunities for people to feel safe and supported as they looked inside and discovered different parts of themselves.
I usually I have a hard time saying goodbye to the summer season. Summer is the season where I have more time for adventure and ease.
